Here is one Democrat who does "get it."  So the republics attack him of course.  Like they were so civil this past summer in damning the public option with outright LIES!

I am one of the many persons who went for years without health insurance – and tried to not think of the consequences of what would happen if I got hurt skiing or playing softball.

Now I have Medicare and and exceedingly happy with my government option!
