End of July Commentary

The July challenge ends today, and I wish to say thank you to Paul and to those who commented on my infrequent posts. You all gave me ideas and encouragement for my “next-up-to-write-projects.”

Between now and the next challenge I plan to tackle at least two of my current ideas and put them into a series of books. I’ll let you all know how that goes… right now I have the ideas and the motivation!!

I’ll be unleashing my words to the universe – or at least to Kindle.

For starters, I’m finishing the one I call ” How to write when you don’t feel like writing” and the one after that will be on lifespan psychology with a focus on healthy aging or living with a nonlinear brain or dealing with stress or …. or …..

The indoor gardening one needs to start this Fall so I can take photos of what I am doing – that has its own agenda….it can be a follow-along series of books documenting my own process.

And of course, I need to leave time for any other topics that come to mind as I work on these!

I can see all of those great ideas bubbling up out of your head.
Schedule one or two and get on with it.
Looking to hear from you in October with a progress report, milestones accomplished and work in progress.
Schedule in some time to have fun and enjoy the summer, it is always too short.
    Then, blog on!

Thank you for your comment and your cheerleading. Hope to have a lot done by the October challenge – at least that’s my plan… But I always leave room for “life happens.”

Lynn, what great ideas! It was good to see you and read your work in the July UBC. You are a good person, clearly. I hope you’ll be back and use the UBC for motivation in times ahead. Take care of yourself!

Thank you for your encouragement. I’ve been with this blog challenge for years even when it first started sometimes works for me sometimes doesn’t. I’m hoping that when the next one starts up, I can pop in and say hey look at all the writing I got done. I’m feeling that’s possible and that feels good.

Your ideas sound great! Congratulations for showing up when you could. I wasn’t as consistent as I wanted to be. Showing up is important however we can. I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer!

Thank you for your comment. I was more consistent this time than any in the past couple of years where I would think about it and a whole challenge would go by and I wouldn’t write, but I decided this time around I was going to at least publish a few blog posts. And that got me to working on the books and that feels good.
