Thank you for the comment Susie. My old woof died 2 years ago and it took me a while to think of getting another dog. There are advantages to not having one, but I am one who just needs dogs and cats around...in spite of the time/energy commitment of a puppy.. and it had over 20 years since I had a puppy as my last dog was about 3 when I adopted him.

Get a puppy :)

					<description><![CDATA[Awww this is so sweet.  We have been an empty nester for several years and I have been begging my husband for a puppy.  We lost our family dog of 17 years right before the kids left home.

Your article makes me want one.  Maybe if I hold up one of those Facebook signs that says &quot;If I get 1,000 likes my husband will let me get a puppy,&quot; he might give in. :)]]></description>
