No – your brain is not color coded…..
I have always loved learning about our brain and took a neuropsychology course in graduate school and learned to love it even more! It is intriguing and current research has taken our knowledge far beyond what I learned way back then.

Similar memories overlap physically in the brain and this produces less confusion if the brain area responsible is larger ….
The brain area of the research cited is called the hippocampus – and the even smaller section is known as CA3.
“A larger CA3 may contain more neurons or more connections between neurons, which could allow greater physical separation of the different memory traces,” Dr Martin Chadwick, who conducted the experiments, told BBC News.
Maybe in coming years we can discover if there are things we can do to increase the size of this small area so that memory loss is [hopefully] lessened.
