Why is this great?\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Most parents know Parenting 101 – that’s what all those “other” people tell YOU about how to raise YOUR children.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Parenting 201 understands that your children are YOURS – not mine – and neither I nor anyone else can tell you how to raise your children.<\/span><\/p>\n

We believe there is no magic recipe or list of “what-to-do” for raising children [much as we’d all love this] and that we all screw up as parents – <\/span><\/p>\n

but our kids still come out okay! \"my<\/span><\/p>\n

Since you are here and reading this – you are already a thinking parent or parent-to-be……<\/span><\/p>\n

and that is great for you and for your child!!

My son says that I don\u2019t supply easy answers; instead I give tools and ways for you to figure those answers out for yourself…..<\/span><\/p>\n

Maybe that’s why I so love this quote from Martin Luther King, Jr.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rarely do we find men who willingly engage in hard, solid thinking. There is an almost universal quest for easy answers and half-baked solutions. Nothing pains some people more than having to think.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I guess I could say “welcome to the thinking parent site”\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

P.S.\u00a0 This site will never be “complete.”\u00a0 Like life – it is always developing and you can watch as it grows.\u00a0\u00a0What is here now are combined posts from my old blogger blogs: \u00a0growing children and healthy children. \u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Having a website is like having a child – it’s never a done thing – and it always needs tending to – even when you don’t feel like it.
