Rick Santorum – the PA Sen said this:<\/p>\n
“And yet we have brave men and women who are willing to step forward because they know what’s at stake. They’re willing to sacrifice their lives for this great country. What I’m asking all of you tonight is not to put on a uniform. Put on a bumper sticker. Is it that much to ask? Is it that much to ask to step up and serve your country?”<\/p>\n
Actually he was talking about his own bumper sticker- he’s not doing well in Pa.<\/p>\n
But here’s an idea for Congresspeople like him to propose:<\/p>\n
Let’s give the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan a choice – they can stay where they are or they can come home and place a bumper sticker on their car. Since it’s all the same for chickenhawks like Santorum – why not do this?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
