In Olmstead v. L.C., the Supreme Court held that, pursuant to the \u201cleast restrictive environment\u201d provision of the Americans with Disabilities Act ( ADA ), a person with a disability has a right to live <\/span><\/i>in community settings rather than in institutions.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Join us to hear an outstanding group of experts discuss the origins and impact of the Olmstead case. Speakers will also address Thorpe v. District of Columbia , an ADA class action on behalf of DC residents living in nursing homes.<\/span><\/i><\/span> Rights of People with Disabilities<\/span><\/p>\n
