I laugh when my friends ask me why I am still so busy with meetings and such since the election is over!

For too many – politics is a once every 2 or 4 year event – and they see the in-between periods as lulls. But for many of these persons there is no connect of the personal to politics and I mentioned the disconnect in an earlier post: http://lynnsrants.blogspot.com/2008/10/is-your-neighborhood-like-mine.html

So on we go with meetings and planning – for our February fundraising event, for recruiting more PCPs, for parties where we connect not only with each other but with those whom we can interest in the process…

Because politics never ends!
