I am a mother. My son is the most important person in my life. If anyone were to spread false rumors about him or try to hurt him psychologically, I would fight for him like the proverbial mother bear for her cubs. And after the fur settled back down, I would NOT be inclined to “pal around” with, hug or kiss [yuk] the person responsible for inflicting that hurt on my child.

That said, I harbor serious worries about a McCain who had his child maligned by the 2000 bush campaign.

What does McCain do?

This is what McCain did to the perpetrator of the hurt inflicted on his child!
