{"id":800,"date":"2011-07-05T19:56:23","date_gmt":"2011-07-06T02:56:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.graywolfproductions.com\/graywolfproductions\/?p=800"},"modified":"2011-07-05T19:56:23","modified_gmt":"2011-07-06T02:56:23","slug":"4th-of-july-traditions-on-the-columbia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.graywolfproductions.com\/graywolfproductions\/4th-of-july-traditions-on-the-columbia","title":{"rendered":"4th of July Traditions on the Columbia!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In my river neighborhood, there are several 4th of July traditions.<\/p>\n<p>One fun one is the fire boat spraying people on their decks and boats [and I missed getting pictures <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.graywolfproductions.com\/graywolfproductions\/wp-content\/plugins\/fckeditor-for-wordpress-plugin\/ckeditor\/plugins\/smiley\/images\/thumbs_down.gif\" title=\"\" \/>] Wait til next year!<\/p>\n<p>Another tradition is a boat named Luscious making a round trip with a very large American flag on the mast &#8211; along with 2 more normal sized flags.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" align=\"middle\" alt=\"luscious-flag\" height=\"293\" src=\"https:\/\/www.graywolfproductions.com\/graywolfproductions\/wp-content\/uploads\/flag.JPEG\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And a tradition for this [and most of our potlucks] are:<\/p>\n<p>Human visitors from Hayden Island. [Dinghy is easier than driving I-5!]<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"visitors from hayden island\" height=\"293\" src=\"https:\/\/www.graywolfproductions.com\/graywolfproductions\/wp-content\/uploads\/visitors.JPEG\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And the ever present food-seeking ducks.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"hungry mallard\" height=\"293\" src=\"https:\/\/www.graywolfproductions.com\/graywolfproductions\/wp-content\/uploads\/duck(1).jpeg\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I hope your holiday was fun for you, your families and friends!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In my river neighborhood, there are several 4th of July traditions.
