Sometimes it is too hot to think!
So on those days – I do my thunking in the morning and in the afternoon I look at my inboxes [yup more than 1] and wonder how I wind up with so so much email.
Wasn't the computer age supposed to make it easier to communicate?
Maybe it's made it too easy.
I am on lists and more lists and then even more lists. Most of the emails are not even personal anymore.
So on this hot afternoon I culled, unsubscribed and cleaned out old emails I had once marked as "must read" – but must was so long ago – if it was important I know it will come back again.

I recently discovered the joy of ‘white space’ in email. Colleagues had talked about it but I’d always had thousands of messy emails in my inbox. This year, I decided to have a full clean-out and I’ve tried to keep at least a bit of ‘white space’ in my inbox ever since. Oh, it feels free! 🙂 Thanks for sharing, Hannah
Thank you for the comment – I love that concept – I’m going to try for white space over the weekend or into next week!
and keep it that way!!

Thanks for the comment – interesting approach. I’ll think of it as mediating the next time I go on a cleaning out binge – maybe then it will happen more frequently?

Doesn’t that feel so good?? I almost do it as a meditative practice when I’m feeling the need to organize my space (even if it’s online space!).
